Ready J had his first basketball game of his gradeschool career this afternoon. He did well, especially for his first game. He didn't have much of a deer-in-the-headlights look like E did last year during her first game. :) J got his hands on the ball a few times to dribble and shoot.
He's been eagerly looking forward to playing sports for school for a couple of years. You could tell he was nervous out there but afterwards said he had fun. It's so neat to see how the kids improve from the beginning of the season to the end!
Great picture, after seeing your camera this afternoon, I am very jealous. They did do very well, for their 1st game! Next weeks game should be tons of fun, see you there.
