Sick Bugs

The kids are home from school today since their teachers are at a conference.

S was awake off and on during the night while in our bed which didn't allow us to sleep well.

Then at 3:00 am, F came into our room and told me she'd thrown up in her bed. Ugh! My, darling, loving husband took care of F's sheets while I took her into the bathroom and cleaned her up and helped her change her jammies. We put her back in her bed with a clean pillow, a sleeping bag, and a bucket. Thankfully she hasn't thrown up any more and doesn't have a fever. She's taking it easy this morning and has spent much of it on the couch, but now she's feeling a bit better and playing on the computer.

S has been sleeping all morning. At first I thought he was just really tired after being up so much during the night, but when he briefly woke up at 11:00 am, I changed his diaper, put some clothes on him, and took his temp since he felt warm. Sure enough, he's got a 103 degree fever! I gave him some children's ibuprofen and let him go back to sleep.

I pray no one else gets sick!
