Fun!!! That's great that Josh will take time to "play" with the kids. But, lol, your kids must be hot blooded, shorts & no socks in the winter...brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!
Melanie, just responding to your question about my class. It's just a community Ed class for beginners. I do not have an SLR, although some in the class do. I have a Sony Cybershot W150. The class covers all ages, from grandmas who just got their 1st digital camera for christmas and don't have any idea what to do with it to a man who photographs for the paper to a young man with Downs who enjoys taking pictures. So we get many points of view on picture-taking. Basically, what we are learning to do is to delve into the settings on the camera to capture the best shots we can for what we want to use the camera for.
I think someday I might like to advance to an SLR, but $$$$ is the issue!! We'll have to see how much I end up using photography. There is so much I'm learning about my camera and I'm so glad I'm taking this class to learn to fully use the product that I paid for.
Dinah, those are the boys' pj's that they're wearing, but, yes, I think they are hot-blooded because our kids are always barefoot in the house, even in winter! I can't keep socks on their feet!
Building together is a very apt caption for this photo, because, you see, more is being built here than meets the eye... loving relationships, family teamwork, trust, not to mention whatever engineering is going on with the creative minds involved AND each of the three bring something UNIQUE to the mix and each are learning and gaining something different and meaningful for them.... I absolutely LOVE your 365 project and the bird's-eye-view that my heart craves :)
Hi! You've found my main window on the 'net where you'll get a glimpse of what my days are like married to the love of my life and best friend. In addition to mothering our 5 children, I work part-time as our church's secretary and very part-time in the concession stand at a high school.
I like to dabble in photography, both the "artsy" aspect of it as well as using it to chronicle our everyday lives.
