I love it! We planted a lilac bush about 4 years ago and it has yet to bear more than 1 or 2 flowers every year...hopefully this year it will be big enough to produce!
Dinah, our lilac bush was here when we moved into this house 4 yrs ago. It was so big that 2 yrs ago we ended up cutting it down to less than half its size. It bears white lilacs;I'd rather have the light lavender ones, but you can't be picky when it's already there. :)
Yay! I can't wait for lilacs. It seems that every yard in this state has them (it is the state flower), so the perfume permeates everything. Oddly, this house didn't have one when we moved in, so we had to plant 2. Hopefully we'll see some blooms this year!
Hi! You've found my main window on the 'net where you'll get a glimpse of what my days are like married to the love of my life and best friend. In addition to mothering our 5 children, I work part-time as our church's secretary and very part-time in the concession stand at a high school.
I like to dabble in photography, both the "artsy" aspect of it as well as using it to chronicle our everyday lives.
