Pieced and Pinned

I've got the top of the quilt for our bed pieced. Today I ironed and sewed together the fabric for the back of the quilt and pinned the top, batting, and back together. I had to move the couch in the living room in order to have enough room to spread the quilt out on the floor to pin it. Josh was sleeping on the couch while I moved it and seemed to sleep right through it!

Here's a picture of the quilt laid out on the floor when I finished pinning the layers together:
(Click HERE for a close-up of the fabrics I used.)

It's more green and pink than I'd anticipated, and those colors are brighter than I was expecting them to be, too.

This is the fabric I used for the back:
I think if I could go back and redo it, I would have used this fabric in place of the green and either used a more muted shade of pink or some kind of cranberry colored fabric with a pattern to it instead of the pink I actually used. However, I'm NOT tearing the quilt apart and redoing it!
