Arkansas Vacation, Part 2 (Playhouse and Science Museum)

Gramma D and Grampa J (Josh's parents) have this awesome playhouse in their yard.

The playhouse is stocked with empty food boxes and old utensils, but the kids asked Gramma D to make some curtains for the window which she did, of course! They also asked Josh to build them some appliances, so he set to work on some big cardboard boxes. It's a good thing he'd brought his tools along from home!

He made an oven with a microwave above it. The kids used chalk to draw buttons, windows, burners, etc. on it. At one point, S was in the oven, and the kids were "feeding" him empty cans of Pringles ... a new twist on the Hansel and Gretl story?!

Josh also made a sink, using an old plastic flowerpot for the bowl.

One of the days we were in AR, Josh's grandparents treated us with a trip to the science museum. It was alot of fun! We worked together to build an arch using foam blocks ...

... and saw a laser light show.

Grampa J and F got to go on stage during a show. While they were holding hands, Grampa J touched a big metal ball that was charged, and F pointed to a metal spinner that the man was holding and made it turn just by pointing at it.

J made bubbles.

E piled up rice bags on the balance to see how much Josh weighed.

G and S liked watching the ball spin around and around in the funnel.

Grampa J took a picture of our family outside the museum ...

... and I took some of just the kids.

True colors shining through! ;)
