It was only the second time we'd been there. (The first time was way back when I was pregnant with S and craving steak.) After going there again, I'm not all that impressed with the place. I had their 6 oz sirloin which was good, and their warm rolls with cinnamon butter are yummy, but the tables seem crammed so closely together, and the place is loud. I remembered it being louder than it actually was this time around, but I have a hard time with lots of noise due to my partial deafness. It's hard for me to understand/hear specific things when the noise level is too high.
The kids liked the restaurant though, especially the free peanuts. J and G were trying to get our family to eat enough peanuts to fill the extra tin bucket up with empty shells. (We only filled it half full.)
After supper we stopped at Wal-mart to pick up bananas since, when I'd gone grocery shopping that morning, Aldi was out of them, and I had to get back home with the kids in time to eat lunch and get them to VBS. We also picked up S's b-day presents. (It's so nice to be able to shop for gifts when the child for whom they're intended is with you! LOL I think those days are drawing to an end though!)
We made a stop at Shop-ko, too, since we need a new gasket for our blender. Wal-mart didn't have them; neither did Shop-ko. Then we tried Menard's. No luck there either! I wouldn't think we'd have to buy a whole new blender, but we can't find a gasket! Maybe online?! Any ideas?
