Sunflower Field

This gorgeous field of sunflowers is about 2 miles from our house. I had to stop on the way to work this morning and take a picture.

    This is beautiful! There are lots of sunflower fields in South Dakota, but I didn't realize there were any in WI! COOL!

    Little Wonder, we've been living in this area for 12 yrs, and this is the first year this place planted a field of sunflowers, and the first time I've ever seen one. I hope they do again!

    Holy cow, that is amazing! I think a field of wheat is pretty in its own right, but we don't have anything nearly that outright beautiful in these parts!

    WOW -- so cool and great picture!! I wonder what they grow them for, to sell for decor? Seeds? Interesting! (I'll bet you have tons of goldfinches around there!)
