E was home sick today. I took S to preschool, spent a few minutes at my desk in the office doing a couple of things, and then left to go back home to be with E.
My unexpected day off allowed me to do a bunch of laundry, get our money record caught up, order some pants for E online, figure out the menu for next week, and finish up this week's grocery list.
When S came home from school, he had fun keeping E company.

E actually doesn't look too sick in that picture, but later on she slept for a couple of hours and was only able to get one of her homework assignments done. Her throat is still bothering her and she's congested and coughing. We'll see what tomorrow brings for her.
I didn't actually have the whole day off because I still had to do concessions tonight for some volleyball games, but Josh was home with the kids then. We weren't too busy. CL left early because she was going to a play so JD helped me out.
Once I got home from working concessions, Josh left to go to the last half of the church council meeting.
Our first week of school and we got sick, too! And our kids aren't even in a classroom with others to pick stuff up. DH must have brought it home (though he never seems to catch anything himself!)
