Semi-Annual Switcheroo

With the chilly weather upon us (daily highs in the 50's and high 40's), I'd already hauled out the kids' cool weather clothes the other week. However, I still hadn't taken their summer clothes out of their drawers, so those dressers were full to bursting ... and the floors around some of the dressers looked like they had!

Yesterday and today I spent the afternoons and evenings going through the kids' clothes and packing away summer clothes, culling through too small clothes, and reorganizing their winter clothes. I'm also in the midst of washing clothes that F and S have outgrown to give as hand-me-downs to some friends. It feels good to have the off-season clothes all switched out and in-season clothes neatly in the kids' dressers and closets and ready to go. It's a big job, and it's nice to have it done for another 6 months.

  1. I haven't done our's yet, and I need to. I'm overflowing every where. There's piles of clothes on the living room floor, because I just don't know what to do with them.
