However, outside at school today, her classmates launched the hot air balloons they'd made. Mr. B, E's teacher, wanted to try hers, too, because E's had gone really well on Monday on their trial launches in the gym. I happened to be outside when E's was launched, and it went higher than the 2 story school building. Hers was only one of three that made it that high. Mr. B said that they could probably try hers again on another day when E was back in school.
Tonight Josh and I attended parent teacher conferences for the 4 older children. The kids' teachers had good things to say about them which is always good to hear. On both a good and bad note, we learned that certain undesirable behaviors (like whining and squabbling) that a couple of our children perform at home are not exhibited at school. It's good to know that your children behave well outside of the home, but it would be nice if they consistently did it at home, too!
Happy birthday to Josh's grandma who turns 91 today!
