Our tradition is to have blueberry muffins on Christmas morning.

Each person gets a muffin (or two) with a candle in it. We light the candles and sing Happy Birthday to Jesus.
Then everyone gets to blow out the candles in their muffins.
The year we started the tradition, I baked the muffins Christmas morning. The candles started melting when we put them in the still-warm muffins. Now I always bake them the night before, but Josh usually has to remind me to do it. :)

Great framing on the first one. You're making me hungry.
ReplyDeletenice tilt on the first one. Makes the shot a bit more interesting. That old used pan gives this a real country kitchen feel to it. My mom used to have muffin pans like that!!! where is the butter?!! mmmmm
ReplyDeleteWhat a great tradition! This year I meant to make cupcakes for Jesus...you just reminded me of how important it is to create those traditions. I agree with Erin and Erica, that was a great angle on the first one!
