The faculty and staff went out to eat for lunch that day. One of the school/church families gave money so that we could do so. We went to a wonderful Mexican restaurant in WB.
Then I went and ran a few errands before going home for half an hour before going over to the high school to do concessions Friday night. Josh and the kids came over and watched the basketball games, too.
Saturday we all went to town to go grocery shopping and finish up Christmas shopping. We also stopped at K's to drop off some Christmas cookies for them, and I got to see their little baby girl who was born on Monday.
That afternoon the kids decorated the gingerbread house. A & AS came over for a couple of hours to say hi since they're both home from college. Then we went to see the Christmas lights at the fairgrounds.
Last night my sister R, who is on Christmas break from college, came to spend the night at our house. She's a waitress at a restaurant and had to work last night. Since my parents' move 1 1/2 yrs ago, they live 2 hrs away from R's college, but we're only about 30 min away, so it was easier for R to come to our house after work rather than go to our parents'.
I got almost all of the Christmas presents wrapped last night while waiting for R to come.
All the kids had their Christmas services at church this morning. R came with us.
The 1-8 graders' service, which E, J, and G were in, was at 8:30 AM. F and S's kdg and preK 3 & 4 service was at 10:30 AM.
We didn't go home between the services. We didn't have time, and we also helped set up and get things ready for the birthday party for Jesus (birthday cake, apple juice, and coffee) which was after the 10:30 service.
This afternoon Josh and the kids went sledding on the big hill by our house. P's were there sledding, too.
