Happy 2010!

Some college friends of our had invited us (and some other college friends of ours) to their house for a new year's eve party. We left yesterday afternoon and stayed overnight. (That was planned ahead since we had the farthest to drive home and it would be late.)

There were 4 families there, including the hosts. All had 4 children, except for ours that had 5, so there were 8 adults and 17 children, all under 12 YO. Granted, 1 of those children was a baby, and 2 more were 2 YO and under, but it really didn't seem like that many kids. Of course, they mostly played in the basement or in the living room on the Wii, but they weren't extremely loud.

It was fun to see these friends again that we don't see often and ring in the new year with them.

We got home around 11:30 am. My sister R spent the night again because of work, and she will tonight, too.
