F, S, our neighbor girl, and I walked down to the ponds again in the afternoon. Today we saw both the goose and the gander. I can't wait to see the cute little goslings when they finally hatch!

That's neat! We see a lot of Canadian geese up here, too, but usually passing through on their way north or south. I'm sure some stay in the marshes, but there are none close to me. One fall, though, we saw hundreds of them in a cornfield on their way south. Often we hear them honking overhead on their flight.
