Last Week of Summer Vacation

Yesterday our church had a joint service in the woods with our mother congregation with a meal following. I saw and talked with the daughter of a friend who I hadn't seen in years since she lives in OH now.

In the afternoon I went and did a little bit of shopping by myself.

E came home safe and sound from her trip up north. She even brought souveniers for her siblings. She's such a caring, thoughtful young lady!

This week is the last full week of vacation for the kids. The 4 older ones start school next week Tuesday. S doesn't start til September 3. We still need to go through the kids' school supplies and see what we have that can be reused for this school year and what we need to buy yet. I plan on doing that this week.
