Today was our church picnic at a park. I think it hit 70 today, and the sun was shining, but it was cool under the picnic shelter, especially when the light breeze blew through.
It's supposed to warm up later this week but also rain (which we really need). Don't get me wrong; I don't want temps in the 90's, but 75-85 would be nice! I think we've only used our a/c for about a week this year, for sure less than 2.
And all the scientists talk about global warming ... uh huh. Sure.
The best part about the cooler weather is I hope it causes "those people" to take a better look at the theory of global warming. I'd take a bitter cold winter just to see it shake things up a bit.
ReplyDeleteWe had that kind of cool weather through June. The rainiest June since the 1800's. But our July has warmed up nicely.
We are in a heat wave here, 105 today, so some 70 degree weather sounds heavenly. We are never happy are we???? ha.
